This will be an easy C ride around Center Moriches, that will average 11.5 - 12 and will be taking our break at Nettie's. There are some very nice water views along the way. No one gets dropped and we will be observing spacing rules, etc. Since the exact route will be determined as we go along, there will not be a cue sheet.
The number of riders is limited, so if you want to ride, text me (631-523-2129) with your SBRA Member Number and Emergency Contact phone number. I will respond to your text and let you know if you have a spot on the ride. Once the ride is filled, I will change to post to indicate that.
MEETING LOCATION: straight back from Wendy's and Dunkin Donuts, on the EAST SIDE of the shopping center.
Riders should arrive at least 15 minutes before the ride start, to allow enough time for me to get everyone signed in and to "get yourself" ready
Super gauntlet Sunday. You will park across the street from the Saint James General store. This ride will consist of 2 to 3 laps of the super gauntlet climbing at about 80 feet per mile. It will be a B+ ride but in A- effort. We will have weight ups at the top of cordwood and at the top of farm Road. Plan for some fast speeds on the downhill and slow to pace uphills. Both cordwood and Farm Road are about a half a mile long each with significant climbing.
Plan on doing three loops, but we could stop at two depending on how everybody's legs feel.
The SBRA June General Meeting will be held as an "IN PERSON" meeting, on Thursday, June 6th at 7:00 pm. Please join us for this IN PERSON meeting for a chance to see some of your fellow SBRA members that you may not have seen for a while. There will be light snacks and refreshments at this meeting.
