This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

Today's’ route to Great River will change up a bit towards the end of the ride - if the wind is in our favor; making this route pretty flat except for 2 overpasses. We will go the usual route heading south using the Connetquot Park bike bath. We’ll work our way down to Heckscher Park, do a loop where one can stretch the legs a bit if desired. Taking turns pulling would be appreciated! I would like to keep the road speed between 15 & 16 mph and come in at an average between 14.5 and 15.0
Please DO NOT PARK in the Meat Farms parking lot. Use the west side of the bank if the east side is full. Thanks!
We’ll be making a rest stop around mile 19 at the deli/bakery. The route back will be determined by the wind direction.
This will be a C ride, which will average 11.5 - 12.0, partly depending on the winds, the riders, etc. Since the exact route will be determined at the start, so there willnot be a cue sheet for this ride. We will ride part of Dune Road (direction determined by the winds that day) and then take our break in Westhampton at the Beach Bakery, where bathrooms and food are available.

This week we will head out through the fields and farms through rolling terrain to Briermere Farms. We'll have a stop at Briermere for a break, before we paceline our way home.
We'll lower the pace a bit, in case some riders would like to try riding with us. We'll keep everyone together, so no one gets caught out in the North Fork winds.
We will now be on the SOUTH SIDE of the Ronk train station near the Western end of the parking lot closest to Railroad Ave. Plan to be back by dark but wear light or reflective clothing and have lights for your bike. Bring a snack and hydration. Route depends on riders ability, wind, position of moon and ride leaders disposition. As always newbies always well taken care of and no one gets dropped. Join me for this evening ride from SAYVILLE around the surrounding areas. This will be an easy C, with a ride average between 11.5 - 12.0. The exact route will be determined at the start, so there will not be a cue sheet for this ride. We are leaving promptly at 5:45 to ensure we have enough daylight, but it is recommended that you wear bright/reflective clothing and have working lights on your bike. Please be prompt getting to the ride start, so we may depart on time.
Park on the SOUTH side of the train station.
NOTE: I am limiting the number of riders. You MUST text me with your name, Emergency Contact phone number, and SBRA Member Number if you want to ride. I will return the text: YES, you have a spot…or…NO, Ride Filled...CELL #: 631-523-2129
We will depart from Captree Boat Basin and make a stop at Tobay Beach, where bathrooms are available. Our "half-way" point of the ride will be at Jones Beach State Park, where we will take our break and bathrooms & snacks/beverages are available. The round-trip ride is just over 28 miles. Due to the fact that this is a "mulituse" path, with pedestrians, runners, and skaters (to mention a few) using it, I have posted this as a C ride, and our average should be 11.5 - 11.9. As usual, the pace may also depend on the winds, who is in the group, etc.
Park next to the greenway entrance in the west lot. If you are under 62 the parking fee is $8 - butfree if you arrive before 8AM (which is why I am starting the ride at 8:15); those over 62 are free (yea!).

Come and join the fun at our SBRA Picnic which we have not been able to do for a couple of years. You can come and do the ride for no fee or come do the ride and stay for the picnic for a 30.00 charge. There is a link to pay on the front page of the website. You will need to sign up for the picnic part so we can tell the caterer how much food he needs to bring.
Try to get into the park before 8 so you do not have to pay for parking.
For this Picnic ride, we'll head out along the Peconic Bay and the up to the farms of the North Fork. Then it's back along the North Fork and through Riverhead, before we head back to the park.
This will be a cobtrolled paceline ride, where we'll ride together like a team. That means no surges or jacking-up the pace, let's show some discipline and enjoy a ride for once! Off the front and you're off the ride!
This is a scenic ride along the Peconic River and up thru Cutchogue. There will be a quick coffee/bathroom stop at a deli in Cutchogue. At mile nine there are porta-potties at Veteran's park in New Suffolk, which we will also stop at on our return. Veteran's park does have regular bathrooms, but they aren't always open. Please let me know if you will be joining the ride so I can get an idea of how many riders we will have. You can text me at 631-356-3036.
Come join me for a ride from Indian Island County Park to Cutchogue. It is a B ride, averaging 15-16 MPH. The cruising speeds will be 16-19 to get the average.
I will wait-up whenever someone falls behind. No one will be dropped. If you want to join me please text me on my cell, 631-655-7801. I will let you know if you are in, or the ride is full. Once accepted onto the ride if you need to cancel for any reason please text me as early as possible. You can find the “Ride with GPS” route in the SBRA “Ride with GPS” account under the tag, MReiser.

Going to Manorville today. A rest/ food stop at McDonald’s or the bagel shop is on the schedule around mile 13. There are a few places along the route for a break-a-way for those who wish to do so. Pulling is always appreciated for those who want, but not required. The route we take to Manorville will depend on the wind direction. This will be a B- ride with the average speed between 14.5 & 15.0. Probably twords the lower end, at least that's what my legs are telling me. Road speed will be between 15 and 16mph. If you want to go faster, please go on another ride.
Any cancellation due to weather or any other circumstance will be posted no later than 0715 if necessary. If you have question about the ride just text me at 631.484.3490. Eventually my phone and I will meet in a reasonable amount of time...
Mileage is approximate but won't be more than 20. May depend on what the group feels they can do. This will be a slower paced ride for those who prefer that. Come join the fun after the rides at the picnic (sign up via the main page of the website). You can ride and not stay for the picnic, but isn't it all about the food?? Any questions, text or call me.
