Off to Briermere's with a stop to view the Boiso if they are in a pasture near the road. Plent of room at Briermere's for social distancing, and real bathrooms are available. If you want to share a pie, and there are enough riders interested in sharing a pie, bring small bills and change. There are individually sized baked goods available. Coffee is no longer available. To join this ride, text me (Bill G. 631-356-3036) with your SBRA, emergency and cell numbers, your full name and date of ride. Check the ride calendar the day of the ride for changes, which would be posted by 07:15am.
This will be a steady paced ride on big roads. Speed somewhat depends on wind and size of group as always. The goal is a smooth ride working as a team. This should be a moderate effort ride. Hope to see you there.
Leaving Vets park at the same time as Bill G but taking a different route to Briermere.
I hope to get to Briermere about the same time as Bill - maybe we can get pie to share too! Otherwise there are plenty of tasty snacks plus real bathrooms.
Please test me if you want to come on this ride - 631 542 3137 (note this is a different number than usual). I need the info to fill in the ride sheet before the ride.
We will go to Patchogue or Around Holbrook depending on the wind direction. Whichever route we take the mileage will be 24/28. The road speed will be 15.5/17.0 Pulling is always appreciated. We'll come in with a B minus average plus or minus a few. We can go for a bagel after the ride or hit McDonalds during the ride if they let us in; your choice. Any questions about this ride text me at 631.484.3490. Cancelations will be posted by 0730 if needed.
Come out and join me for this ride from Bellport to the Smith Point Marina. We will make a bathroom stop at Weirtheim, followed by a quick stop at 7-11 for any snacks or beverages, and then on to the Marina for our break.
This is a C+ ride which will average 12.2 - 12.8 (depending on the wind and the riders), we will be observing spacing rules, etc.
Since I will be deciding the route as we are riding, there will not be a cue sheet.
