Claire is back in the US! from Robin:
"My parents have finally arrived. My mother is at Peconic Bay. She'll be transferred to a care facility. There is no word yet as to where she'll be placed. They are so happy to be home. Thanks for all your concern."

My next (and last) update will to post which care facility Claire will reside in while recovering.

I received the following from Dick.
"It looks as if we will be able to get her out of here this coming Monday. The doctors have given their A 1 OK, and the Milan Police have been extra special. We intend to ambulate her to the hospital in Riverhead and from there it is just a matter of getting her to some facility for recuperation. We have been getting so many sympathy notes, I can t answer 1/10 th of them. I would really appreciate it if you could send something to the SBRA newsletter to let them know that she is slowly recovering and that we hope to be back on LI this coming Monday. I don t want to look at another plate of spaghetti for at least 6 months. Hope to see you all soon. DICK"

Hopefully we'll have her back on LI this week.
