I've been out a couple of times on the local roads up in the
three village area since the hurricane to take some storm
pictures and I wanted to post the road conditions in the
area. Lots of debris on the many of the roads with a
number of work crews out cutting down the large nbr of
downed trees. That being the case you will find some roads
having just one lane for traffic in both directions. A good
number of traffic lights are still out making road crossing
dicey at best. Sheep pasture is still resembling a sheep
pasture and is still all dirt with an occasional dustball thrown
in. In short the roads are okay for a wary cyclist or two but
I would not recommend group rides for the area at this time.
Should see some improvement by tomorrow.
