I didn't know where to post this, so I hope others will find it here, or if I am in the wrong place, please spread the word. ON THIS MORNING'S RIDE OUT OF HOLTSVILLE ECOLOGY PARK, the entire road surface was being torn up in both directions. On the north end, it goes all the way out to Blue Point Avenue. I asked the road crew how long they would be working there, and they said they would be removing the surface for 2 days, then coming back in a week to resurface (so maybe a couple days for repaving?). On the return, we actually had to walk our bikes back in from Blue Point Avenue. Therefore, be cautious about posting rides that start from the Ecology Park, and if you choose to avoid that area, check back n project progress and be aware of conditions PRIOR TO TAKING A GROUP RIDE OUT OF THE ECOLOGY CENTER.
