5 Boro Bike Tour St Baldrick's Team for pediatric cancer...Openings

    Hi Members

UPDATE:  We've reached our full complement of 10 riders for the Bike tour, and as of Today (March 16) we've raised $8,000 on our way to surpassing our goal of $10,000!  We appreciate all the support we are give, so if you'd like to help advance pediatric cancer research read the older post below for information about St Baldrick's and the link to the donation page.

    See you on the rides!

    Hi Members

My 5 Boro Bike Tour team benefitting the St Baldrick's Foundation is making great progress towards our fundraising goal.  We still have 2 openings for riders who'd like to take part in the tour and at the same time make a difference for children fighting cancer.  St Baldricks funds more pediatric cancer research than any other non-governmental agency; over $230 Million since 2005.

Teammates are pledged to raise $1000, which is on the low end of the range for Bike NY charities. Being a charity rider means you get to start in the 1st wave and have access to the Charity hospitality tent at the finish festival with free food and beer.  Also each rider will receive a custom St Baldricks bike jersey, AND you don't need to shave your head!

Time is of the essence as I will be ordering the Jerseys soon. To sign up just go to the event page here: https://www.stbaldricks.org/events/5boro

If you can't participate but would like to support my ride with a donation, my fundraising page is here: https://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/mypage/938509/2018

Thanks for taking the time to view this post, see you on the roads (when the weather gets a bit better). If you would like more info call me anytime at 631-948-0545
