Two things ... when we've run this event before, we've never started the ride at 7 pm as per the world wide ride because the issue of daylight. On that day the sun will set just after 8pm. In the past we've had the ride start in Bellport and ridden west ~20 miles. Starting further west in Suffolk may get more participation. If a shorter ride is done then in the past, staying within one town to make a more visible statement, a 7 pm start will work.

Unfortunately, I have a prior commitment that evening and will not be able to lead (or attend) this worthwhile ride. I hope someone else chooses to post and lead this ride.
