Folks,

Sorry to have to be posting this news. Rich was on my ride at East Setauket this morning. We had completed the black diamond of Mogul Two (the new diamond with big moguls) and were back on the Intermediate trail. Unfortunately, earlier this week, some yahoo had run the trail when it was wet and the big drop between the berm on the Outer Limits and BJ's Way was rutted and had exposed roots. Rich went down (did NOT end-over) and did damage to his shoulder. He will be under going surgery later tomorrow at Good Samaritan Hospital for a broken and separated shoulder.  He will probably be in the hospital until mid-week. His email is either or .
