NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

This is special start and location as I will be camping on the beach at Shinnecock East campground, arrive buy 6:00am there will be no fee. After ride hang out and have breakfast on the beach. My treat!!!!
Basically we will be riding the Red Creak and Dune road.
Scenic century ride from Riverhead then out to Greenport to Shelter Island to East Hampton (maybe Amagansett) before heading back to Riverhead. Check back later this week for more info and route (still working on it). Please call or txt is you plan to join (347-922-3824).
This will be an easy C ride around Center Moriches, that will average 11.5 - 12 and will be taking our break at Nettie's. There are some very nice water views along the way. No one gets dropped and we will be observing spacing rules, etc. Since the exact route will be determined as we go along, there will not be a cue sheet.
The number of riders is limited, so if you want to ride, text me (631-523-2129) with your SBRA Member Number and Emergency Contact phone number. I will respond to your text and let you know if you have a spot on the ride. Once the ride is filled, I will change to post to indicate that.
MEETING LOCATION: straight back from Wendy's and Dunkin Donuts, on the EAST SIDE of the shopping center.
Riders should arrive at least 15 minutes before the ride start, to allow enough time for me to get everyone signed in and to "get yourself" ready
We will be leaving the bank heading to Babylon. There will be a break at McDonlds around mile 20. This is a B- ride that will average around 14.5 - 15 mph with road speeds that will reach 16 to 19 mph.
This C+ ride of 20-25 miles will average 11.5-12.5mph. Bring snack/hydration as route depends on wind, tide, position of moon and ride leaders disposition. Newbies welcome and well taken care of and nobody gets left behind. Any cancellation will be by 8:30am. No need to text, email, phone, send message by carrier pidgeon or smoke signal me. Just show up 15-20 minutes before ride start to get your s**t together.
