    Details (RL read field instructions carefully): 

    Shelter Island is one of the most scenic rides on the island. We'll leave from the Mattituck RR station and head out to Greenport, then over to the island on the ferry. After taking the grand tour around Shelter Island with a stop for lunch we'll return to Greenport and back to Mattituck, making the route bike-boat-bike-boat-bike. (BBBBB)

    After getting lunch to go at Schmidt's market we'll take a short ride to Wades Beach for our lunch stop.

    Route is flat to Greenport, but there are some short hills and rollers on Shelter Island.

    Pace will be an easy B, with an average of around 14.5 - 15 mph.

    Please bring money for lunch and the $5 round trip ferry fare.

    Any ride updates will be posted by 6:30 am on Sunday morning.
