    Ride to Sunset" means we aim to finish the ride prior to sunset. With sunset at 8:24pm, the ride begins sharply at 5:30pm. Depending upon cloud covering, wait-ups and other variables, i.e. flat tires, etc., the length of the ride can vary. The ride, which maintains a B pace and averages 15-16mph, also demands hill riding capability.

    With diminishing light nearing the end of the ride, bicycle lighting and bright colored clothing are highly recommended.
