***Sorry folks but due an unsettled forecast that includes
heavy wind,rain and scattered thunderstorms I am canceling
my ride for tomorrow. I would like thank Barbara,Larry and Bob for
volunteerIng to lead rides for this event. Will try to get another Custer
Event going in the fall.

***This will be a moderate led Bplus ride with
the emphasis on ridiing and enjoying the nice
surroundings. All Bplus riders should have
no problem on this ride. Some pacelining will
be encouraged but not required. See you there ! ***

Join us for a late afternoon B+ ride out to Orient with
an arrival back to Mattituck sometime before the
sun sets !!! The purpose of this late ride start is
to allow people who might come out to do the ride
a chance to visit the "Custer Institute" in Southold
and view the Perseid Meteor shower that is at it's
peak that evening. Other ride leaders are invited to
post rides as well and the 3 point ride is a great ride
that is lower in mileage and passes through some
of the more scenic areas of the North Fork. Lawn
chairs,blankets and your favorite beverage would
be welcomed if you were planning on sticking around
into the evening to view these shooting stars ! Additional
info will be posted as the date approaches. No go
