In the early stages of the Suffolk Bicycle Riders Association (SBRA) Bike Boat Bike (BBB) planning for 2012, the BBB Committee and the Executive Board determined that it would be in the best interest of the club to have an associated charitable organization affiliated with BBB. It was decided that the Stony Brook Children’s Hospital filled that need best.br />

In 2013, construction begins on a new facility for the Stony Brook Long island Children’s Hospital, Suffolk County’s first and only children’s hospital.  The move and expansion from its current location within Stony Brook Hospital will make sure that children in our community have access to the most advanced care in the most appropriate setting. 

Over the years, SBRA has a history of generosity and the desire to “give back.”

SBRA Members are encouraged to take a book(s) of raffles and make an attempt to distribute them. Funds and raffle stubs go to Paul Miklean, VP of Administration.  Any unsold raffles must be returned.  Checks are payable to SBRA.

If not present at drawing, winners will be notified by phone or email.
