    If you are interested in this ride, please call or txt me by 9pm Friday (347-922-3824).

    Plan is to take the 9:17am train from Patchogue to Montauk (arrival at 10:55am) and ride back to the Blue Point Brewery.  This is a special train configured to hold more bikes than the usual LIRR trains.  Current forecast shows rain ending in Montauk at 8am so this allows approx 3 hrs for roads to dry before we hit the road.  This shouldn't be a problem with a projected 14-15 mph NE tailwind!!  Rest stops approx every 25 miles or as needed.  Pack sufficent hydration, food, $$/cc, cell phone, etc.

    Pls park between the Blue Point Brewery and YMCA.  We will leave the parking lot no later than 9am as we need to ride a short distance to the train station and purchase tickets.  Pls note bicycle permits are no longer required to board LIRR trains.
