This ride was originally posted for Wednesday, but due to predicted gusty winds, I moved the ride to Friday. Off to beautiful Orient Point State Park, with scenic stops and views along the way. The state park has picnic tables, restrooms and adult bench swings with views of the Atlantic Ocean.  Bring snacks and drinks.  On our return we stop at an historic slave cemetary, than a  lunch stop at the Orient General store, which has very reasonably priced delicious sandwiches, and outside picnic tables. There will also be a short stop to view a lighthouse on the L.I.
