    Much better forecast, cooler, drier, no rain.

    Old school BBB Shelter Island route from Mattituck.

    Riding out to Greenport, North Ferry to Shelter Island.

    Grand tour of SI, followed by lunch at the deli in Greenport.

    Route to and from Greenport is flat to rolling, Shelter Island is rolling to hilly.

    Pace will be a moderate B-B+, wait-ups as needed on the hills, nobody gets dropped.

    Bring $6 for round-trip ferry fare,  and plenty of water and snacks, as the lunch stop comes after we tour SI.
