The Leonid meteor shower (http://www.meteorshowersonline.com/leonids.html) peaks around the time of November 17/18. Not sure if we'll see much in the lower trails but, if it's a clear night, we'll stop for a view at the top of any open area. Since it's early in the season for me to be riding at night, we'll only do a couple of single Black Diamonds (all BD's are optional). Not sure if the parking lot lights will wipe out the sky (maybe after we'll spin (or drive) over to Adirondack or Berkshire Dr. or even Cedar beach, Mt. Sinai) ... so bring a warm jacket or blanket).
