NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

Building miles at a staedy pace. Break at MRB. There is no 51 & 111 but we do the tanks, Mill and Weeks. We will stick together for a fun and efficient ride, no drops, waitups as necessary.
Bring a mask. Check back for weather cancelations and changes (route may be shortened to save time). Route below.
Bobby's ride to Great River. This is a volunteer shared pull ride with road speed between 15-16 mph.

COVID PRECAUTIONS: Generally speaking most of us who have been riding together do not wear masks during the ride, if you are only comfortable riding with those that wear masks, then you might want to chose a different ride. That said, please respect those that are on the ride and distance appropiately at the times we are stopped.
We will ride out to the Eastern end of Dune Road, stopping along the way for some views of the Atlantic Ocean. Shinnecock Inlet is quite scenic, with benches and rocks to sit on when you take in the views. Be sure to bring a snack for the Inlet stop. We continue on for some scenic stops in Quogue with great water views, than head West to a pocket park in Westhampton Beach, seconds from the Beach Bakery. Bathroom stops will be at mile 7 with real bathrooms, at Shinnecock Inlet (porta-Potty), and in Westhampton Beach at about mile 31. This ride is very wind dependent, so be sure to check for changes the day of the ride, which would be posted by 07:45am.

Park on the in the lot opposite the firestation. We will get to Netties around mile 20 after exploring the Moriches inlets. Nettties has lots of space, chickens, baked goods, coffee etc + bathrooms. The speed will probably come in the low to mid B- range.
Join me for ride from Eastport to Westhampton. We will ride part of Dune Road, and the direction will be determined by the winds that day. We will take our break in Westhampton at the Beach Bakery, where bathrooms and food are available.
This is a C+/B- ride, which will average 13.5 - 14.0, partly depending on the winds, the riders, etc. The exact route will be determined at the start, so there willnot be a cue sheet for this ride.

We will meander around some quiet back roads of East Islip, stop at the beach for a snack, depending on the weather. Then ride the Heckscher Park bike path where we will wind our way along the Great South Bay on our return leg to Timber Point Golf Course. There will be a bathroom break in Heckscher park. Please bring water, spare tube, and a snack if you wish.

Please join us for a rumble through the beautiful trails of RP. The level will remain novice to intermediate. This time we will do the main trail, and these diamonds: Mogul 1,2 &3, Dragon and Rattlesnake. We had a blast last weekend. We will do wait ups as needed The goal is fun, not competition
