NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

Wheels up at 9:00am for a ride to Wertheim Wildlife Refuge and back. Depending on the wind and direction we should average 14.5 - 15. Of course in order to obtain this average at times our road speed could be 15-17 mph. No one will get dropped. Please check ride calendar at 7:30am day of ride for go or no go incase of issues which would prevent me from riding or bad weather.
This will be a moderately paced ride out to Bellport. Group will stay together. No one gets dropped.
Brief rest stop at Bellport Deli before returning home. Masks will be required at ride start and rest stop. Please respect social distancing guidelines.
No need to be 20 minutes early but please be ready to leave at 9am.
If you'd like to go really fast this ride isn't for you. I'd like to keep the pace w/in the guidelines. Cruising speed is not higher than 23mph. If this sounds like your cup of tea please come and join us. There will be a quick stop at the 7/11 on Factory in Mattituck
Join me for this C+ ride, which will average 12 - 12.5. No one gets dropped and we will be observing spacing rules, etc. Ride destination will be determined by the road conditions; decision to be made the morning of the ride; no cue sheets. We will head to the Atlantic Ave. Deli for our break and there will be a bathroom stop.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the ride start, to allow enough time for me to get everyone signed in and to "get yourself" ready.

This is my first ride out since December ,so although I am saying it will be a B/B+ ride I would like it to be a lower end B/B+. We will be touring round the Moriches inlets and admiring the views before arriving at Netties (mile 17). Netties bakery has bathrooms and good food, plus plenty of places to sit.
Off to Briermere's, with a stop on the way to view the Bison, if they are in a pasture visible from the road. Briermere's has a selection of individual treats, or you can join in sharing the cost of a pie with your fellow riders, I supply the plates, napkins and pie cutter. Briermere's has outdoor space for social distancing, and real bathrooms as well as a porto-potty. To join our multi year tradition of pie rides, contact Bill G. at 631-356-3036 with your SBRA, emergency and cell numbers, date of ride, and full name. Check the ride calendar the day of the ride for changes, which would be posted by 07:30am. High winds could change the ride destination, or shorten the ride.
I will do a C pace on some roads in Manorville with very little Cars and Lots of trees some hills slow but steady check back two hours before in case of bad weather questions call or text cell 631-484-1650 after 7am or before 7pm please if more then 7 riders show up we will split up into two groups and follow all the COVID rules listed below. Masks will be used at all stops.
