NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.
For Other Events in our area and off Long Island check out the "Other Rides & Events calendar" and the "Forums"

I've changed the venue but will still do a Beginner ride if someone contacts me and wants to do a Beginner ride ... Eastpost is good for Beginners ...otherwise I'll be riding an Intermediate level and very possibly be riding up to the the Orange trail of Manorville Hills (check the distance ;-).
If nothing else, PLEASE contact me to let me know you plan to be at the ride start. No contacts and I may cancel at last moment or do a ride at another venue.
SBRA insurance requires that Mtn Bike riders MUST sign a Ride Sign In sheet for each Mtn Bike ride. Please text [631-988-6557]/email me at [nsamuels@ optonline.net] include your name and emergency and cell # (NOT necessary if you've recently ridden with me). I will have the Ride Sign in sheet for you to just sign.
You must have a mask on your person to ride though it's typical to be more than 15 feet a part in the woods.
Check back to this posting before leaving for the ride as Life Happens and Things Change.

We will use the some fire roads and calm single track of BSP.
This is a roundabout route to Nettie's which will include East Bartlett, Church Lane, and 25A. It's a top-heavy route with the rest stop occuring at approx. mile 39, so please plan your nutrition and bottle(s) accordingly.
Meandering ride from Oakdale to Bellport docks with rest stops along the way. If needed, we'll pick up food at the deli and enjoy the view at the docks.

This ride is full. This ride is very weather dependent, and posting this 6 days in advance can result in last minute changes, so be sure to check the ride calendar by 08:30am the day of the ride. We will take a scenic ride along the Peconic Bay as we had out to Cutchogue. We will than head North thru farm country and views of the Long Island Sound. Our food stop will be at Scoops and Grinds, which has a variety of sandwiches, baked goods, ice creams, soup and coffees. There are outside picnic tables and an inside bathroom. On our way to Cutchogue and back, there are porta-potties in Veteran's Park in New Suffolk. The number of riders is limited, so sign up early if you are interested.
