Second time this year, the first time we got to view the perimeter of the Sandpit BD 3x ;-) ... Hopefully we don't screw up again. The trail should be frozen dry and any ruts will add to the technical challenge. I plan to do most of the diamonds including the RR tracks, the half-pipe and the sandpit ... will only skip the boring trail 13. This place has been developed by CLIMB as one of the best technical places on LI. 

Though COLD the woods will be 25F, Parking shouldn't maybe a problem but please so be prompt. This is a DEC site so you may need a parking/access pass (though I've never seen anyone checking). Easy to obtain online ... try [https://www.sbraweb.org/node/6490]  .

You must have a mask on your person to ride though it's typical to be more than 15 feet a part in the woods.
