NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

The route will take us via some rolling terrain to Briermere Farms and the Northville Tanks. (Maybe we'll do the Tanks first, we don't anyone to chunder).
After a short break at Briermere, it's back through the fields and back to the start.
We will be leaving the bank heading to Babylon. This will be a quick ride without a food stop. Please bring your snacks. This is a B ride that will average around 15.5 mph with road speeds that will reach 16 to 19 mph.

Park in the south overflow lot. Mostly flat ride out to Wertheim for our break/bathrooms. Bring a snack as I don't know if we will stop anywhere to purchase one.
Going to Manorville today. A rest/ food stop at McDonald’s or the bagel shop is on the schedule around mile 13. There are a few places along the route for a break-a-way for those who wish to do so. Pulling is always appreciated for those who want, but not required. The route we take to Manorville will depend on the wind direction. This will be a B- ride with the average speed between 14.5 & 15.0.
Any cancellation due to weather or any other circumstance will be posted no later than 0745 if necessary. If you have question about the ride just text me at 631.838. 1458 .
Join me for this scenic ride,cruising speed will be 10-11 depending on the group. No one gets dropped.
We will ride around some quiet back roads of Sayville while working our way to the Great South Bay. we'll be passing the Mansion at West Sayville and the Long Island Maritime Museum. We'll wind our way to the beach for a snack and bathroom break. Then we'll head East to Bayport, enjoy a couple more water views and head back on our return leg. Please bring water, spare tube, and a snack if you wish.
