NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.
For Other Events in our area and off Long Island check out the "Other Rides & Events calendar" and the "Forums"

First time this year! The trail should be dry. I plan to do most of the diamonds including the RR tracks, the half-pipe and the sandpit ... will only skip the boring trail 13. This place has been developed by CLIMB as one of the best technical places on LI.
Parking maybe a problem on the w/e so be prompt. This is a DEC site so you may need a parking/access pass. Easy to obtain online ... try [https://www.sbraweb.org/node/6490] .
If nothing else, please contact me to let me know you plan to be at the ride start.
SBRA insurance requires that Mtn Bike riders MUST sign a Ride Sign In sheet for each Mtn Bike ride. Please text [631-988-6557]/email me at [nsamuels@ optonline.net] include your name. I will email you a copy of the Ride Sign in sheet to sign and bring to the ride UNLESS you do me a favor and print it from here: https://www.sbraweb.org/sites/default/files/Ride_Sign-In_Sheet.pdf
You must have a mask on your person to ride though it's typical to be more than 15 feet a part in the woods.
Check back to this posting before leaving for the ride as Life Happens and Things Change.
Join me for this ride from Calverton, where we will ride on the back roads around Manorville, and take our break at the Bean & Bagel Cafe. This is a C+ ride, which will average 12.0 - 12.4, depending on the winds, etc. The exact route will be determined at the start, so there may not be a cue sheet for this ride. The ride will be split into two groups if we get more than the limit for one group.
NOTE #1: You must be a club member to go on club rides.
NOTE #2: rides at this time are limited. You MUST text me with your name & SBRA Member Number if you want to ride. I will return the text: YES, you have a spot…or…NO, Ride Filled...CELL #: 631-523-2129
